I’ve been messing around with some old sigil work and trying to understand what makes certain symbols powerful. Honestly, it feels like there’s a lot of hidden knowledge that can still be tapped into today.

I’ve done a lot of sacred geometry work. In fact, I have a whole lesson created that was supposed to be the subject of an online workshop for the old magickforum, and then life got in the way of setting that up. I’ve also done a good bit of Tattva work.

My profile pic here. It’s the smaller part of a larger key. It contains the hexagram, pentagram, and unicursal hexagram (among other meanings if you know what to look for).
I have just begun working with them, so my insight much not help much. But I’m interested in everyone else’s opinion.

While I understand how to create and work with sigils, I don’t regularly include them in my active practice. However, where we definitely share common ground is in exploring ancient teachings and the symbols associated with them!
My true passion truly lies in the historical and structural aspects of these mysteries. I absolutely enjoy studying the architecture behind systems like Hermeticism, Neoplatonism, and Kabbalah. I like researching how these ancient traditions used symbols as deep, complex maps of the cosmos and human consciousness.
There is so much rich history in how those specific teachings visually depicted higher realms and energetic structures. It’s an incredible rabbit hole to explore, and I completely agree with you that there’s still so much of that ancient knowledge waiting to be uncovered today!
