Morty says it’s such a relief to hear. I’m a total perfectionist myself, and I tend to get caught up in trying to do everything just right, especially with my spiritual stuff. But hearing that it’s okay not to be perfect? That’s a huge weight off my shoulders.
I’ve realized that trying to make everything seamless just adds more stress, and sometimes I think that perfectionism actually feeds my anxiety. It’s like I’m trying to control everything when really, that’s just not how it works. And you’re totally right when you’re in the thick of a panic or a flare-up, the best thing you can do is just take it one step at a time and do what you can. Trying to “run the script” perfectly isn’t even possible when your body’s in overdrive.
I also really appreciate you pointing out that sometimes our survival instincts, like panic or feeling defensive, are actually totally normal and necessary. There’s a lot of noise out there telling people they should never feel that way, but that’s just not real life. Our nervous system is wired that way for a reason, and it’s about learning to work with it, not fight it.
Really looking forward to that bigger topic you’re putting together. Breaking things down into what tools work for what situation sounds way more practical than just throwing a bunch of theory at people. Simple, repeatable stuff is what actually helps me stay grounded and keep moving forward.

I like to say perfection is extremely expensive as well! it’s just not worth it day in and day out.
I’m hoping to start on that topic today as well.
@league your comment about vibration and personal frequency got me thinking about how these two are different. I see personal frequency as what someone is below the moment to moment vibration, the deepest state where surface states come from.
