Hey everyone,

I just finished reading The Magick of Aleister Crowley by Lon Milo DuQuette, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in Thelema and Crowley's teachings. The book offers a clear and accessible introduction to Crowley's complex systems of magick, blending historical context with practical insights. DuQuette's engaging writing makes the esoteric material approachable, even for newcomers, while also providing depth for seasoned practitioners.

What I particularly appreciated was the emphasis on applying magick in daily life, along with explanations of rituals, symbolism, and philosophy. It's a great starting point for those looking to explore Crowley's work without feeling overwhelmed.

Would love to hear if anyone else has read it or has recommendations for similar books!

Just wanted to throw out another book recommendation that’s really stuck with me, The Book of Thoth by Aleister Crowley.

It’s all about the Tarot, but it’s way more than just card meanings. Crowley dives into the symbolism, history, and how the Tarot connects to Magick and inner work. What I love about it is that it’s not just a reference guide. It really pushes you to think about the cards on a deeper level and see them as tools for self-discovery and spiritual growth.

The artwork by Frieda Harris is incredible, too. They add a lot of layers and help bring the symbols to life. Honestly, it’s a bit of a dense read at times, but that’s part of the fun. It challenges you to go beyond the surface and explore the hidden currents of esoteric wisdom.

I found that reading this book changed how I approach Tarot. It’s helped me connect more intuitively with the cards and see them as a way to tap into subconscious insights. Whether you’re just starting out or have been practicing for a while, I think it’s worth checking out.

Would love to hear if anyone else has read it, or if you’ve got other recommendations for books that opened your eyes in similar ways.

Happy reading!

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment to talk about Modern Magick by my good friend Donald Kraig. Having known Donald for a while, I can honestly say that this book is a gem in the world of practical magic. Whether you're just starting out or you’ve been practicing for years, I highly recommend giving this a read.

From my personal experience, Modern Magick offers a down-to-earth, approachable guide that combines solid techniques with a clear, modern perspective. Donald’s way of presenting things makes complex concepts easy to understand and apply without feeling overwhelmed.

The book covers everything from foundational practices to more advanced rituals, and I found myself often returning to it for guidance. What really sets it apart is Donald’s emphasis on mindset and intention—something I think is crucial for effective magic. Plus, the exercises are straightforward and practical, making it perfect for integrating into daily life.

I genuinely believe that Modern Magick is a valuable resource for anyone serious about developing their magical skills, regardless of experience level. It’s a blend of tradition and modernity that reflects Donald’s deep knowledge and practical approach.

If you’re looking for a reliable, well-written guide that can serve as a useful reference for years to come, this is it. Big thumbs up from me!

Would love to hear if anyone else has read it or has thoughts to share.
